Photography allows me to capture what it feels like to experience somewhere new, from its atmosphere and character to the people who bring it to life and the details that make it memorable.

I’m particularly interested in the relationship between people and their surroundings: how places shape our emotions and perceptions, how people bring their own stories and emotions into these spaces, and how these interactions create something unique.

As a scientist, I also love using photography to document life over time. I’m curious about how society evolves and fascinated by the complexity of nature at every scale. I enjoy noticing patterns and connections, stepping back to see the bigger picture, and discovering just how much a simple photograph can reveal.
